Humans are social living souls. Humans relate to God and others. All relations have an important spiritual dimension. When humans enjoy the superabundant blessings of God, they offer thanksgiving to the Most High for His gifts. This is proper. And when they suffer the inherent misfortunes of humanity, humans also turn to God, pleading for His helpful intervention. This is also correct.
The social aspect of humanity cries for the prayers of others when misfortune strikes. Again, this action is appropriate. We stand ready to pray for you at your request. When requesting prayer, you may want to tell us the name of the person to be prayed for. The name will be assigned to our pool of prayer partners for them to make personal intercession. If you wish to remain anonymous, that is fine, too. Either way, we will pray for you.
Here is the experience of a great sacred poet of Israel inspiring us to pray:
Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion; and to you shall vows be performed, O you who answer prayer! --Psalm 65:1-2.
This is also the counsel of the Apostle Paul to the believers of Philipi:
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds” (Philippians 4:6-7).
We will be here for you. E-mail us your request. Click the prayers link Prayers
